LanguageLine Solutions Acquires Pacific Interpreters in New Year’s Deal

Combined resources will provide healthcare industry the most efficient and well-trained interpreter workforce available anywhere

MONTEREY, Calif., January 7, 2013

LanguageLine Solutions, the number one provider of interpretation and translation services across all types of businesses, in the more than $20 billion interpreter and translation industry, today announced it has acquired competitor Pacific Interpreters, a nearly $50 million provider of language services to the healthcare industry from private equity firm Sterling Partners.  The combination of these two organizations, with total annual revenue approaching $300 million, will form the nation’s largest interpretation provider for hospitals, medical practice groups, clinics and emergency rooms.
