Omni Lingual Forms Strategic Alliance with Language Line Services
"Will utilize Language Line Services’ infrastructure to enhance and service clients’ needs"
Westlake Village, CA – (July 17, 2008) – Language service provider Omni Lingual has formed a strategic alliance with Language Line Services, the leading global provider of language solutions, in which Omni Lingual will utilize Language Line Services’ infrastructure to enhance and service clients’ needs.
The announcement was made today by Laura Raville, Chief Operating Officer of Omni Lingual: “This partnership will enable Omni Lingual to better serve our customers through a wider variety of innovative services and expanded language capabilities.”
Raville noted that the rising costs associated with technology requirements of the interpretation industry, coupled with the void created by Omni Lingual CEO George Ulmer’s unexpected passing, prompted the company to seek out an industry resource that could help the company maintain high service levels for its customers.
“We selected Language Line Services because it has the most advanced over-the-phone interpretation network and highly trained and certified interpreters available across the language services industry,” added Raville.
Language Line Services provides interpretation services in more than 170 languages, including American Sign Language. In addition to enhanced interpreter connect times and overall levels of service, Omni Lingual customers will now enjoy greater access to a new suite of language products, including:
- Video Interpreter Service
- Training and testing services for clients’ internal bilingual staff
- Multicultural customer lead generating tools and more
“I know George Ulmer shared Language Line Services’ philosophy of serving customers in a consistent and reliable manner,” said Louis Provenzano, Language Line Services’ President and Chief Operating Officer. “We are committed to continuing the passion and vision he brought to the company.”
