Rite Aid customers with limited-English speaking skills can now utilize telephone interpreters to consult with pharmacists in more than 175 languages thanks to a new multilingual access program provided by leading language service provider Language Line Services.

Rite Aid announces launch of new, nationwide language access program

Language Line Services held a press conference at a New York Rite Aid pharmacy to announce the launch of their new, nationwide language access program.  Customers with limited-English speaking skills may now receive prescription information printed in 11 different languages and have access to medically trained interpreters in more than 175 languages via the Language Line Interpretation Service.

At the Language Line Services press conference to announce the launch of their new, nationwide language access program in Rite-Aid pharmacies, a Spanish-speaking customer and Rite Aid pharmacist demonstrate a 3-way conversation using the Language Line Dual Handset Phone. This over-the-phone interpretation service is free of charge to customers and staffed 24/7 with medically trained interpreters in more than 175 languages.
