How does the Language Line® Rover work?
The Rover sends signals to your facility's computer network, which are then transmitted over the Internet to one of our Language Line Services video call centers.
When our call center sends communication back to the Rover, the patient and interpreter can see and hear each other.
The Rover is capable of working over wireless networks
What type of computer network does a hospital need to use the Rover?
A dedicated broadband connection is needed so that the Rover can transmit high quality video signals to the patient bedside.
A T1 connection is recommended for best results.
Do I need to purchase the Rover?
There is no up-front capital expense required to obtain a Language Line Rover. Rovers are provided on a monthly fee basis.
