Your World. Your Language. is easy to use and is offered at no charge to consumers. By dialing 1-888-855-0811, callers reach an easy to navigate menu that first prompts them to select their preferred language and a particular business category to call. A specially trained Language Line Services interpreter then joins the line, connects the call to the selected business and remains on the line to carry out communication between the consumer and the business' English-speaking customer representative.
Businesses:
For business service providers, from banking to telecommunications, joining and participating in the Your World. Your Language. WorldPartner network is easy and economical. Companies can join the network by calling 831-648-7452 or visiting www.WorldPartnerProgram.com. As a WorldPartner member, businesses are automatically included in referral lists for callers to Your World. Your Language.. Participating businesses are charged only for calls placed through the service to their customer representatives.
Overview
Your World. Your Language.SM is a nationwide telephone-based service that allows limited English speaking consumers to communicate in their own languages with banking, insurance, telephone, Internet, utility and other vital business service providers. The service is toll-free, and connects callers with companies situated within their local service areas.
Developed by Language Line Services, leader of over-the-phone language interpretation, and AT&T, Your World. Your Language. is the first and only comprehensive service that offers free over-the-phone interpretation in multiple languages for limited English speaking consumers who are actively seeking information about, and access to, specific business products in their city or town. At the same time, the service functions as a comprehensive customer acquisition application, offering companies a new way to communicate directly with active consumers in more than eight languages.
Census Bureau statistics show that more than one in five people in the U.S. speak a language other than English at home. According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the legal permanent resident flow to the country reached more than one million in 2005. Your World. Your Language.makes it easy and economical for businesses to reach the rapidly growing limited English speaking segment of the population in a range of languages, providing companies with a distinct advantage as they move to compete in new niche, linguistic economies.

A professional interpreter will first collect key information from the caller in his or her language and then place the call to the selected business, remaining on the line to facilitate communication between the consumer and the business' English-speaking customer representative.
Based on patent-pending technology developed by Language Line Services, Your World. Your Language. provides access to services in eight languages: Spanish, Cantonese (Chinese), Japanese, Korean, Mandarin (Chinese), Russian, Tagalog and Vietnamese. More languages will be added depending on the needs of other cities. The service will be launched on October 18 in the San Francisco, California and available to limited English speaking residents throughout the San Francisco metropolitan area. The San Francisco launch will be followed by a roll-out over the next 12 months in the nation's most culturally-diverse cities. Your World. Your Language. will be available nationwide by the fourth quarter of 2007.
The service represents an important industry partnership between Language Line Services and AT&T. While Language Line Services operates the Your World. Your Language. service and provides professional interpreters, AT&T operates the network and routes the calls.
