Healthcare and government organizations are navigating a rapidly changing policy landscape around language access, immigration, and the cost of care. From new executive orders on English language to broader initiatives like the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”— leaders are being asked to adapt quickly.
On Wednesday, November 19, LanguageLine will host a live webinar that breaks down what these shifts mean for organizations serving populations with limited English proficiency (LEP), and how to prepare for what’s ahead.
About the Session
This webinar will provide legal and operational guidance to help healthcare providers, government agencies, and other public-serving organizations understand what’s happening at the federal level and how best to implement federal language access requirements. Attendees will gain practical tools to serve individuals with limited English proficiency while remaining compliant with federal regulations.
The session will cover recent policy developments, clarify the concept of “meaningful access,” and provide clear steps to assess and improve your current language access programs. In addition, there will be an opportunity to pose your language access questions to the speaker.
