By integrating LanguageLine’s services with doxy.me, providers can seamlessly add a professional, medically qualified video interpreter to facilitate mutual understanding with limited-English speakers, the Deaf, or the Hard of Hearing. Interpretation is available in seven languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Interpreter connections are made on-demand – there is no need to pre-schedule an appointment – and linguists can be reached in seconds.
The service is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

A doxy.me Professional or Clinic account is required to add a LanguageLine interpreter to a doxy.me meeting. To establish a new account with LanguageLine Solutions, healthcare providers can call (800) 752-6096 or email CustomerCare@LanguageLine.com.
The steps for adding a LanguageLine interpreter to a call are simple. First, users copy their doxy.me session URL, then open a new browser and go to telehealth.languageline.com. Next, they submit their session URL, LanguageLine authentication code, and requested language. A professional video interpreter will join the session within seconds.
