Environment
We commit to sustainability—reducing our footprint through efficient operations and waste reduction—and require ethical, responsible sourcing from partners that meet strict environmental standards.
Community
We deliver local impact through monetary contributions, in-kind donations, and employee volunteering, building partnerships that foster collaboration and shared progress.

LanguageLine Gives Back
LanguageLine Gives Back is our employee-led initiative for volunteering and philanthropy. As part of Teleperformance’s global Citizen of the Planet and Citizen of the World initiatives, we take action locally and globally—whether through donation drives, in-kind support, or hands-on volunteering. These efforts allow us to contribute to environmental stewardship, community well-being, and social impact, while giving employees meaningful opportunities to connect and make a difference where they live and work.
Responsible and Inclusive Sourcing
LanguageLine has maintained a Supplier Diversity Program since 2009. We are committed to spending between $1.2 million and $1.5 million quarterly on diverse suppliers.
- Diverse Supplier Program: Our procurement process ensures that we source materials and services through a balanced approach that incorporates diverse suppliers from across the business world.
- Responsible Sourcing with Technology Vendors: We use technology and services from leading technology providers like AWS, NICE, and Salesforce, all of which maintain strong environmental and social responsibility standards.
Empowering Our Team Through Learning
At LanguageLine, we invest in the professional development of our staff through a variety of programs:
- Staff Development: We provide all staff with opportunities to set their own career goals and pursue development through our tuition reimbursement and ongoing training initiatives.
- New Interpreter Mentoring Program: We are helping new interpreters build confidence and thrive in what can be an intimidating first year. Already, more than 6,500 interpreters have benefited from the program. What’s more, 94% say mentoring eased their transition, and 92% feel inspired to make interpreting their long-term career. Thanks to the dedication of our mentors, this initiative is not only strengthening retention but also ensuring that interpreters feel supported from day one.
- Fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace: Our employees participate in annual training on diversity, equity, and inclusion totaling more than 12,000 training hours in 2024.
The laptops donated by LanguageLine Solutions will be used immediately by our members enrolled in our IT Pathway program. Our program, located at our Salinas, Gilroy and Modesto Centers, provides a hands-on experience to our members. Thank you for continued donations. "
