As a Strategic Business Partner, LanguageLine is offering MHA members a full suite of language access solutions, including on-demand audio and video interpreting, scheduled onsite appointments, translation and localization, and language proficiency testing and interpreter training for in-house staff. These services are designed to help healthcare providers remove communication barriers, improve patient outcomes, support regulatory compliance, and advance health equity.

“We are proud to be partnering with LanguageLine to bring innovative language access solutions to our members,” MHA Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer Valerie Fleishman said. “LanguageLine’s suite of services can help our local healthcare providers deliver safe, equitable, high-quality care to all patients, no matter what language they speak.”

LanguageLine’s services are backed by medically qualified interpreters and are available across multiple platforms. Providers have the option of connecting with interpreters directly through their Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, with data tracked securely.

"We are honored to partner with MHA and its member hospitals and health systems," said Simon Yoxon-Grant, President and CEO of LanguageLine Solutions. "Clear communication is essential to effective care. Together our mission is to ensure that every patient, regardless of the language they speak, is heard and understood."

All LanguageLine interpretation and translation supports clinical efficiency while meeting compliance standards, including Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory guidelines.
