Winners in ABA’s New Product and Technology-Related Categories Announced in San Francisco
Monterey, CA – September 14, 2015 – LanguageLine Solutions’ eLanguage Proficiency Test (eLPT) was presented with a Gold Stevie® Award in the New Product category and the People’s Choice Stevie award for Favorite New Product at the 13th Annual American Business Awards on Friday night. Recently launched by LanguageLine Academy, the eLPT is an innovative web-based test designed to easily assess the fluency of bilingual and interpreter staff, as well as candidates for hire.
The American Business Awards are considered the nation’s preeminent business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
The awards were named the Stevie’s after the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, September 11 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and guests attended the award presentation.
This year more than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and from virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in a wide range of categories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 200 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process. LanguageLine Solutions was awarded the Gold in the New Product Award category in recognition of the eLanguage Proficiency Test, a needed solution for organizations seeking to improve communication in today’s linguistically diverse marketplace.
